This is a lovely two tone airforce blue and dark creme coloured Imperial 220 typewriter made by Litton Industries in Japan in the 1970's. It has off white coloured keys and contrast trim with red carriage knobs and is in full working order and types well. This one has the standard " elite " sized type face giving you 12 letters to the inch.
This typewriter has been professionally cleaned, serviced, adjusted and tested. It is in full working order and fitted with a new black top quality American made ribbon so it's all ready for you to start typing on.
We can supply Group 9 TW1 ribbons from $14.95 each including postage. Available in plain black, red/black and a range of Universal ribbons in other colour options.
There are some very minor marks on this typewriter and some minor discolouration to some of the keys, but generally it is in a very good condition. There is the Imperial badge and logo on the front right side and on the carriage. It comes with a matching blue plastic case which clips down over the top of the typewriter and provides you with a handle. The case is also in a good functional condition with just a few marks and some discolouration and scratches in places mainly on the outside. The handle and clips to close work well.
The typewriter measures 30cm by 31 cm by 9 cm, so is a good compact size. We also include a photo copy of an original instruction booklet.
This is a good working portable typewriter in a nice colour and condition.
