A lovely and uncommon light blue coloured Olympia Splendid 33 typewriter with creme coloured keys, space bar and carriage knobs. Olympia was a German brand of typewriter that was known for their great quality and this one was made in West Germany in 1959 for the UK market. It has the Olympia logo on the front and the Made in West Germany and London agents details on the back. This one has the standard Olympia elite sized type face with 11 letters or characters to the inch.
It is in full working order and we have given it a professional clean, service, adjusted and tested it as well as fitting a new top quality American made ribbon so its all ready for you to start typing on. Please note you can only use a plain colour ribbon on the typewriter. You can't use a two colour ribbon.
Universal plain typewriter ribbons can be purchased from us when required. They cost from $17.95 including postage and are available in plain black and a range of other plain colour options.
It is in a very good general condition for its age with just a few small marks to the metal body mainly at the right hand end of the carriage.
It comes with it's original black coloured carry case and provides you with a handle. The case is also in a good general condition with just a few signs of wear on both the inside and the outside and has been taped at the back on the outside. The zip works well.
The typewriter measures 29 cm by 28 cm by 7 cm high, making it a very compact portable model.
This is a good working portable Olympia with the rarer light blue colour and is all ready for you to start typing on.
