A rare two tone Salmon pink and grey coloured Olympia de Luxe SF typewriter with off white keys , space bar and carriage knobs . Olympia was a German brand of typewriter that was known for their great quality and this one was made in West Germany in 1961. It has the Olympia logo on the front and the Made in West Germany as well as the London selling agents details on the back .This one has the slightly larger " Pica " sized type giving you 10 letters to the inch. It is in a very good condition with only some small marks mainly on the back and on the left hand side of the ribbon cover from where the carriage lever has rubbed over the years .
This typewriter has been professionally cleaned, serviced , adjusted and tested . It is in full working order and is fitted with a new Group 1 ribbon so its all ready for you to start typing on .
We also include a photo copy of an original product booklet .This one has the standard sized type so types with 11 letters to the inch.

A ribbon will last you a long time and to give you an idea , in an office environment with someone using a typewriter professionally a ribbon would last them around 3 months.
This typewriter comes with a black coloured vinyl carry case which zips around to close and has a handle . The zip and handle both work well and the case is in a very nice general condition with just some small marks in places . The typewriter measures 29 cms by 28 cms by 7 cms high , making it a very compact portable model.
All in all this is a very good Olympia in a nice condition and a very collectable and rare colour.
