The Olivetti Lettera 22 was designed in Italy in 1950 by Marcello Nizzoli and proved to be extremely popular throughout the 1950's winning numerous design awards. It was very portable for the time as it measures 30 cms x 30 cms x 8 cms high. This one is in a fabulous and original salmon pink enamel colour making it rare and highly sought after. It has charcoal coloured keys, space bar and carriage knobs and was made in the Olivetti Glasgow factory in Scotland. This one has the standard "elite" sized type face giving you 12 letters to the inch.
It works and types well and is in a very good condition with just some minor marks.
This typewriter has been professionally cleaned, serviced, adjusted and tested. It is in full working order and fitted with a new top quality American made Universal ribbon so its all ready for you to start typing on.

It comes with a standard Olivetti carry case which does have some discolouration and marks on both the inside and outside but is also generally in a very nice condition. There are 2 zips and a handle which all work well. We also include a photocopy of an original Lettera 22 instruction manual with a run down of all its features and some typing tips .
