This is a lovely two tone mid blue and creme coloured Imperial 201 typewriter made by Litton Industries in Japan in the 1970's .It has creme coloured keys and contrast trim with blue carriage knobs. It's in full working order ,types well and has the standard "elite" sized font giving you 12 letters to the inch. Please note this typewriter takes a plain colour ribbon only. You can't use a two tone ribbon on this one.
This typewriter has been professionally cleaned, serviced , adjusted and tested . It is fitted with a new Group 9 ribbon so its all ready for you to start typing on . It has the Imperial logo on the front .
We can supply Group 9 typewriter ribbons at $12.50 each including postage. Available in plain black and a range of other plain colour options in a Universal ribbon. A ribbon will last you a long time and to give you an idea , in an office environment with someone using a typewriter professionally a ribbon would last them around 3 months.
There are some very minor marks and discolouration on the metal body of this typewriter , mainly at the corners , generally it is in a very good condition .It comes with a hard plastic case that clips down on top of the typewriter and this is also in a blue colour . The clips and handle work well. There are some minor marks .
The typewriter measures 30cms by 29 cms by 9 cms . We also include a photo copy of an original instruction booklet.
This is a good working portable typewriter in a very nice two tone colour .
