$0.00 AUD

A fabulous black coloured Olympia Splendid 99 typewriter with light creme coloured keys, space bar and carriage knobs. Olympia was a German brand of typewriter that was known for their great quality and ease of use and this one was made in West Germany in 1965. The 99 model differs from the 66 in just its trim. It has the Olympia logo on the front and the Made in West Germany details on the back. It is in a good condition with only a few marks and some small discolouration mainly at the left hand side of the ribbon cover. This one types with the standard Olympia " elite " type face giving you 11 letters to the inch. We also include a copy of the instruction manual.

This typewriter has been professionally cleaned, serviced, adjusted and tested. It is in full working order and is fitted with a new top quality American made ribbon so its all ready for you to start typing on.

We can supply Universal typewriter ribbons from $13.90 each including postage. Available in plain black, red/black and a range of other colour options.

This typewriter comes with a matching black coloured  carry case lid which clips on over the top of the machine and provides you with a handle. The case is in a functional condition with a sound handle and does have a few signs of wear with some small marks in places. The typewriter measures 29 cm by 28 cm by 7 cm high making it a very compact portable model.

This is a very nice Olympia Splendid 99 model in a classic black colour.

"My Olivetti arrived a couple days ago. Got a chance to test it out and it works like a dream (you wouldn’t guess it was nearly half a century old). Thank you for including the original metal spools, it adds a great touch to the machine. Looking forward to adding another typewriter to the collection sometime soon..." - Jake
