1964 Olympia SM 5

A fabulous light creme coloured Olympia SM5 typewriter with creme keys and space bar, mint green shift keys and carriage knobs and silver chrome trim. Olympia was a German brand of typewriter that was known for their great quality and ease of use and this one, which is very similar to the SM2 and 3 models was made in West Germany in 1964. It has the Olympia logo on the front and the manufactures and agents details on the back. It's in full working order and we have given it a clean, professional service, adjusted and tested it as well as fitting a new top quality American made ribbon so its all ready for you to start typing on. The SM 5 's are all metal and beautifully engineered machines giving you a great typing performance.

This model has a few very small marks to the body, mainly just to the left of the space bar and on the right hand end of the carriage and some slight discolouration in places, but it is generally is in a very good condition. It measures 30 cm by 30 cm by 13 cm high and has a case that is also in a good condition with just some general marks and discolouration in places mainly on and around the handle. 

This is a wonderful Olympia SM5 typewriter in a great working condition. We also include a photo copy of an original instruction manual.
