A lovely olive green coloured Olympia SM3 typewriter with dark green keys and space bar and carriage knobs and silver chrome trim. Olympia was a German brand of typewriter that was known for their great quality and ease of use and this one and was made in West Germany in 1958. It has the Olympia logo on the front and the manufactures details on the back. This one has the standard Olympia "elite" sized type face giving you 11 letters to the inch and has the standard German key layout with various accented and Umlaut vowel keys although we have switched the Z and Y keys around to make it a standard english QWERTY key layout rather than the German QWERTZ layout.
This typewriter has been professionally serviced, cleaned, adjusted and tested. It is in full working order and fitted with a new top quality American made Universal ribbon so its all ready for you to start typing on.

The typewriter measures 30 cm by 30 cm by 13 cm high and although classed as a portable this is quite a heavy machine and if you are after something to carry around this may not be the best option, but if you want something sturdy, robust and a nice typer then this is one to consider.
It has a carry case which is in a good functional condition with just some general marks and discolouration in places on both the inside and the outside and discolouration to the metal fixings on the handle.
