1956 Smith Corona Sterling

This is a wonderful Smith Corona Sterling typewriter in a good working order and has a nice typing action. It was made in Belgium in 1956 and has an all metal body in the Alpine pastel blue colour with white keys and carriage knobs. It has the Smith Corona logo to the front and the Sterling logo on the carriage as well as the standard "elite" sized type face in a very nice style giving you 12 letters to the inch. There are some minor marks and discolouration to the paintwork mainly at the back and the sides.

This typewriter has been professionally cleaned, serviced, adjusted and tested. It is in full working order and is fitted with a new top quality American made ribbon so its all ready for you to start typing on. 

We can supply Universal  typewriter ribbons from $13.90 each including postage. Available in plain black, red/black and a range of other colour options.

It comes with a smart wooden case with flecked covering on the outside and green covering on the inside. The typewriter locks in place for transit and it has a sound external catch and handle. There is some signs of wear to the covering on the outside and the inside.

The typewriter measures 30 cm x 32 cm x 12 cm. We also include a photo copy of an original instruction booklet.

This is a good working typewriter in a nice condition and colour which is highly collectable.
