A fabulous and rare shiny black enamel coloured Everest K2 typewriter in full working order made in Italy in 1953. Everest was the main competitor to Olivetti in Italy at the time before eventually being taken over by Olivetti.
This typewriter has been professionally cleaned, serviced, adjusted and tested. It is in full working order and is fitted with a new top quality American made Group 9 TW1 ribbon on metal spools so its all ready for you to start typing on.
We can supply Group 9 TW1 typewriter ribbons from $13.90 each including postage. Available in plain black, red/black and a range of other colour options on Universal spools which will work on this machine or you can rewind onto the metal spools.
This K2 is generally in a very good condition for it's age with just some small marks to the metal body mainly at the front edge and the right hand side close to the ribbon cover. It has black coloured keys, space bar and carriage knobs. The silver chrome work is also in a good condition with just some wear to the carriage lever and there is the lovely Everest and K2 logo on the right hand side of the ribbon cover and the Everest name on the back.
There is no carry case with this one. We do include a copy of the instruction manual.
The typewriter measures 30 cm by 30 cm by 13 cm high.
Everest typewriters are now highly collectable and this is a lovely working vintage typewriter in a relatively rarer model.
