This is a lovely working Royal Quiet De Luxe model portable in the granite grey colour and was made in 1951 in the US. It has matching grey keys with off white letters and numbers. This one comes with the standard Royal magic margin feature and under the ribbon cover you have the touch control to the front left side.  It has the Royal logo in silver on the front, the Quiet De Luxe badge on the carriage and the logo and manufactures details on the back. The silver chrome work is in a nice condition and the grey paintwork is also in a good condition with just a few marks in places. There is some very minor wear to the letter A keytop.

This model has the standard "elite" sized type face giving you 12 letters to the inch.

This typewriter has been professionally cleaned, serviced, adjusted and tested. It is in full working order and is fitted with a new top quality American made Group 9 TW1 ribbon so its all ready for you to start typing on.

We can supply Group 9 TW1 typewriter ribbons from $13.90 each including postage. Available in plain black, red/black and a range of other colour options on Universal spools.

It measures 29 cm wide x 30 cm deep x 14 cm high and comes with it's original carry case which is in a good functional condition but its outside covering is worn and marked with discolouration in places. The handle and clasp work well and the inside of the case is in a nice dark red colour. We also include a photo copy of its original instruction manual.

"My Olivetti arrived a couple days ago. Got a chance to test it out and it works like a dream (you wouldn’t guess it was nearly half a century old). Thank you for including the original metal spools, it adds a great touch to the machine. Looking forward to adding another typewriter to the collection sometime soon..." - Jake
