Blue Brother De Luxe

$0.00 AUD

Wonderful two tone duck egg blue coloured late 1960's or early 1970's metal Brother Deluxe  typewriter made in Japan with white keys and trim and in good working condition. This one has a nice typing action and has the standard "elite" sized type face with 11 letters to the inch.

It's in a very good general condition for its age with just a few small marks to the metal casing, mainly at the back edge of the carriage and at the right hand end of the logo strip on the front above the keys.

This typewriter has been professionally cleaned, serviced, adjusted and tested. It is in full working order and is fitted with a new Group 9 TW1 black ribbon so its all ready for you to start typing on.

We can supply top quality American made Group 9 TW1 typewriter ribbons from $13.90 each including postage. Available in plain black, red/black and a range of other colour options on Universal spools which will also work with this typewriter.

We also include a photocopy of an original Brother instruction manual.

It comes with an original Brother blue coloured carry case which is also in also in a  good functional condition, but does have some small signs of wear with marks and discolouration on both the inside and the outside. The handle is sound and the zip works well.

It measures 30 cm by 29 cm and 8 cm high, so is a nice compact size.

"My Olivetti arrived a couple days ago. Got a chance to test it out and it works like a dream (you wouldn’t guess it was nearly half a century old). Thank you for including the original metal spools, it adds a great touch to the machine. Looking forward to adding another typewriter to the collection sometime soon..." - Jake
