Wonderful mid brown 1930's or 40's era leather vintage briefcase in a lovely condition and sourced from England .This one is an expandable design and maybe an ex military or Post Office briefcase. Organise your paperwork on the move in vintage style with this . The leather has a fantastic patina to it and it comes with its a solid metal closure fitting which closes around the leather front strap adjusting to the how expanded you have the case .The metal closure works well but there is no key to be able to lock it . It has two buckle straps at each side on the front and a good handle . Inside there are 5 full pockets and two half pockets plus a pullout leather folder with strap to hold papers and holders for 3 pens or pencils .
The case measures 30 cms long by 5 cms across ( unexpanded ) by 25 cms high .The width of the 5 larger internal pockets are 25 cms , so it won't take A4 paper unfolded , but will take an iPad ! The leather is in a generally good condition but there are marks and scratches and discolouration that you would expect with a vintage leather case of this age and kind . This really just does just add to its appeal as a quality and collectable item with plenty of character .The inside is also in a nice condition , but does again have some marks and signs of wear .
This is a fabulous and unusual leather case and would make a wonderful accessory for your vintage lifestyle or a great gift.
Delivery anywhere within Australia is free for this case .
