This is a very nice two-toned creme and black coloured Remington Sperry Rand Quietriter typewriter with off white topped coloured keys and black carriage knobs and in working order. This one was made in Holland sometime in the late 1960's or early 1970's . It types well and we have given it a clean , service, adjusted and tested it and fitted a new ribbon so its all ready for you to start typing on . It has the Sperry Rand logo on the front at the left , the Remington Quietriter logo on the front right and the manufacturers details on the back.
Universal GR1 typewriter ribbons can be purchased from many online suppliers or we can supply you with new ribbons when required . You will need to rewind the new ribbon onto the spools that are already in this typewriter. New ribbons cost around $10 including postage . However a ribbon will last you a long time . To give you an idea, in an office environment with someone using a typewriter professionally a ribbon would last them around 3 months.
There are a few very minor marks mainly on the underneath and the back edge of the plastic carriage and some slight discolouration in places , but it is generally in a very good condition . It also has a matching black coloured plastic case with handle that attaches to the top of the typewriter and clips on at the front . The case is in good functional condition with some minor marks and slight discolouration . It provides you with a handle to carry it around .

The typewriter measures 30 cms by 32 cms by 10 cms.
This is a good working portable typewriter in a nice general condition and a smart retro colour .
