Typewriter, Everest 1950 Mod 90

A fabulous shiny black enamel Everest Mod 90 typewriter in full working order made in Italy in 1950. Everest was the main competitor to Olivetti in Italy at the time before eventually being taken over by Olivetti. It has the traditional glass topped keys with silver chrome surrounds and the letters and numbers in vintage creme on black. It has the lovely Everest logo on the right side of the carriage and the Mod 90 logo at the front. Please note there is some reflection on the typewriter from the map behind in some of our images.

This typewriter has been professionally cleaned, serviced, adjusted and tested. It is in full working order and fitted with a new top quality American made Universal black ribbon so it's ready for you to start typing.

We can supply Universal typewriter ribbons when required from $13.90 each including postage. You would then rewind the new ribbon onto the existing metal spools.

This Mod 90 is in a good condition and has a black enamel finish to the metal body. There are a few very small marks mainly at the front corners and on the ribbon cover. This one has the original selling agents details in gold on the side and it has the slightly larger pica sized type face giving you 10 letters to the inch.

The typewriter comes with a case which is in a good functional condition with a working handle and closure fitting. The case does show signs of age related wear and has marks on both the inside and outside as well as wear to the chrome work.

The typewriter measures 32 cm by 30 cm by 13 cm high. We include a photocopy of an original Everest Mod 90 manual.

Everest typewriters are now highly collectable and this is a lovely working classic black enamel  typewriter with glass topped keys in a nice condition and ready to start typing on.
