The SM 4 's are all metal and beautifully engineered machines giving you a great typing performance. The main difference between the SM3 and SM4 is the tab settings are placed next to the space bar at each end. This one is in a very nice condition with just a few very small marks to the metal body, mainly on the carriage.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eUniversal typewriter ribbons can be purchased from us we when required and are available in plain black, two tone red\/black and a range of other colour options. New ribbons are priced from $17.95 including postage. You can also just purchase new ribbon and wind onto the metal spools already in the typewriter.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt comes with it's original two tone green and creme carry case which is also in a good functional condition with some signs of wear on both the inside and the outside, mainly just to the outside covering over the wooden box. The closure and handle both work well.
