To give you an idea , in an office environment with someone using a typewriter professionally a ribbon would last them around 3 months.

It is in a good condition for its age with only a few marks mainly at the the back corners and the front right hand corner where there is small dent in the metal casing.

This typewriter comes with a creme coloured vinyl carry case with bergundy coloured interior. The case is functional but does have age related signs of wear on both the inside and the outside and has been taped on the back edge.
