Typewriter, Everest 1950 Mod 90

A fabulous shiny black enamel Everest Mod 90 typewriter in full working order made in Italy in 1950 . Everest was the main competitor to Olivetti in Italy at the time before eventually being taken over by Olivetti .It has the traditional glass topped keys with silver chrome surrounds and the letters and numbers in vintage creme on black  . It has the lovely Everest logo on the right side of the carriage and the Mod 90 logo at the front .Please note there is some reflection on the typewriter from the map behind in some of our images.

This typewriter has been professionally cleaned, serviced, adjusted and tested. It is in full working order and fitted with a new black ribbon so it's ready for you to start typing. 

We can supply Group 9 typewriter ribbons when required from  $12.50 each including postage. You would then rewind the new ribbon onto the existing metal spools. 

This Mod 90 is in a very good condition and has a black enamel finish to the metal body . There are a few very small hard to see marks , some small paint touch ups and the silver chrome work is also in a very good condition with just some minor wear in places mainly to the end  tip of the carriage lever. It has the standard " elite " sized font giving you 11 letters to the inch.

The typewriter comes with a case which is in a good functional condition with both the wooden structure and the covering of the case having been recently painted .It has lost it's original leather handle and a replacement handle has been fashioned . 

The typewriter measures 32 cms by 30 cms by 13 cms high .We include a photocopy of an original Everest Mod 90 manual.

Everest typewriters are now highly collectable and this is a lovely working classic black enamel  typewriter with glass topped keys in a wonderful condition and ready to start typing on .
